This is the card I made for my oldest niece. The folding butterfly is based on the "flap-over" childrens books like. Due to the amount of work not being feasible in a short time the white outer cards are made during the pregnancy, the name and data are printed on the lilac inlay.

The card for my younger niece, the sister-card to birth card 1, this time based on "touch-and-feel" booklets. The spots on the giraffe cut out and a brown velours fabric is put behind. A yellow inlay provides the name and details and masks the fabric.

The wedding invitation is made with texturised paper. A aluminium-look thread is put through on which two grey and two white beads are pushed. These represent the couple.
